Laikipia county headquaters to be moved to Rumuruti

Laikipia county headquarters will shift from Nanyuki town to Rumuruti in Laikipia west, following the passage of a motion in support of an earlier gazette notice. In a heated debate, majority of the members in the county assembly voted in favor of the motion arguing that Nanyuki was at the edge of the county and the headquarters needed to be in more central point.
